Have 2 wires that have rusted away from their plugs. It's the sidestand wire and one of the grounds that run next to the sidestand loom. Any imput on how others have delt with broken wires. Generic replacement plugs, butt connectors or factory plug. The microfice at MaxBMW has a statement that the plugs are for dealer service only. Any help is appreciated. Bike is a 94 R1100RS. Working out a no start issue. Thanks

If you don't plan of removing the side stand switch very often then you can just solder the wires together then cover with heat shrink for a waterproof last forever connection. (when is the last time you needed to remove the switch from the bike????)

If you want to install new connector & terminals then you can't beat the Weather Pack sealed connectors & terminals (cheap & easily found on E-Bay)

The Weather Pack sealed are commonly used in automobile applications.
