Glad the guy survived - too bad about the bear.

I've never seen a moto vs bear crash but I saw a brown bear hit by a car at the end of our lawn one day in Juneau. Car wasn't going that fast but still a lot of damage to it (and the bear), so I can easily imagine it being quite bad on a bike at highway speed.

I have to say I was astonished at the number of bears I saw on my recent ride up to Alaska... they seemed to be everywhere and I regularly spotted them on the side of the road or crossing in front of us.... not to mention deer, moose, elk etc. You guys sure have a lot of wildlife!
