or is this for 2018 release? While the website puts a 2018 model year on it I was hoping it would debut at dealers before end of this year

BMW is touting it as a 2018 release but so far I haven't seen a firm time that it will be in the USA.

If you are looking at that model then you might give it some time as BMW's track record on first model year release is not very good (seems BMW uses first model year customers as beta testers)

At was at Max BMW yesterday - they had one, but it was already sold so I declined the offer to sit on it. Looked tiny! (But then, after riding the LT the last year, the the R9Ts look super small as well...)
