GPS Sound Question

Recently mounted a Zumo 590LM. Paired a IPhone to it in order to listen to Pandora via ear buds. So far so good.

When using ear buds directly plugged into the iPhone (without the Zumo) I clearly hear sound in both ears. But when ear buds are connected to the Zumo with the phone paired I hear sound only in one (left) ear.

I feel like there's a setting I'm ignoring but not sure where to look.

Do you hear prompts from the GPS in only the left ear, or in both? In other words, is it only music from your phone that is affected, or is all audio from the Zumo? If the latter, it's probably an incompatibility between the Zumo and the earbuds. Are you using the Apple earbuds? If so, try using earbuds that don't have the extra contact on the connector for the inline control (you should only see two rings on the plug, not three).

I'll try different ear buds this week. Using earbuds from "FitEar" (Mark Hood); they have two ea. rings.

Added a Mix-It 2 also. Been raining cats & dogs here for about a week; plan to get out while the weather is good & check it all again.
