I added a Stebel airhorn (148db) to the bike this past weekend. Now it's so loud I don't want to use it because it hurts my ears.

Just wait till you accidentally hit it going for the turn signal button. BTDT.

I have done the opposite. I've very forcefully and angrily mashed my turn signal at somebody so hard that I had a bruise on my thumb. I showed them! I BLINKED at 'em!

Just a quick trip with the wife to have a sandwich:

8 hours and 371 miles later she says, "How many hours was that?" I say, "About 8..." and she replies, "Make it 1 hour less next time."

I"m not sure if she meant, "Go faster." or "Plan a shorter route." I'll do experiments and update you all with the results.

You ever gone on a trail ride with T?

I'm certain I will avoid anything considered hairy by Big-T.

Your skill set in the dirt is probably better.

Stopped by BMW MC of Jax and discussed the repairs to DoubleSilver with the technician and service manager.

It was kinda sad seeing the bike sitting there and me having to leave it there. This recovery is going to be a rough time for me.

Know it well.

Replaced one of power leads for a Motolight, straightened

Added a Centech AP-2 fuse block to the GS today. Rewired pretty much every farkle on the bike to go through it. Now I don't have to remember to always turn off the GPS and the aux lights since they'll turn off by themselves with the key. VERY happy.

Only tested in the garage, though. No time to road test it as it's time to BBQ with the wife on the back porch. I'll have to come up with an excuse to leave the house tomorrow.
