Change keyless to keyed?

My RT is wrecked, among other parts the locking ignition is broken. One possibility is for me to repair it. I have never liked keyless systems. I'll keep it PG in that they're a bad idea.  If I repair the bike myself, one thing I'd like to do is to convert it from keyless to keyed. I see used sets on eBay for big money, but if I get an insurance settlement I may be able to do that- the locking mechanism is broken, so it's got to be replaced either way.

 

Has this ever been done? Based on the parts for sale on eBay, I presume I'd need to replace the control unit, fairing compartment locks, the gas cap, and the seat lock. Not sure about programming? I have the Motoscan full version app if it can do something like that.

This is an interesting adventure, has the OP worked this out? No one on the board has any input?

It's a moot point since my bike was totaled out and I bought a Triumph, obviously I'm not pursuing it. From what I found out it would be very expensive to do.
