darryldale
OK - So I picked up a 2020 850GSA that came with the digital/analog cluster. It also came with navigation and the NAV VI unit. My issue is that the NAV VI unit although getting power from the cradle does not have the "My Motorcycle" app showing in the apps section. Have done a bunch of googling and have tried the following: Updated the unit using Garmin express software Tried cleaning the contacts with rubbing alcohol Tried cleaning the contacts with an eraser Anything else I should be trying short of taking into the dealership? Since it has the digital/analog cluster the only real way to know if the wonder wheel is functional is to get what appears to be a communication issue between the bike and nav unit working. Since my goal is to go with either the WunderLinq or Chegee AIO-5 BMW Edition I really want to make sure the wonder wheel is functional. Anything else I can try? Link to comment

Morning darryldale Is your motorcycle & Nav VI even set up for motorcycle connection? Without the TFT display I'm not sure it has a connectivity option. You might check with a BMW dealer to see if you have that available. Link to comment
darryldale
FYI just in case anybody else comes across this thread. Issue is in the Nav cradle itself and appears to be a short / loose wire where the cabling goes into the Nav unit. If I put pressure on the connector in a certain direction everything works. Having said that if anybody has an OEM BMW Nav cradle they want to sell let me know...... Link to comment
