Radar Detector with Visual Alert plus Audio Adapter

On my 2019 R1250RT I am running with a Valentine One, V1, radar detector.  Mounted to a Quadlock mount which I put together from parts, but that's another story.  Running down the road at speed, one can neither hear nor see the V1 alerts.  Solution?  Marc Parnes'  Visual Alert:  http://www.marcparnes.com/Visual_Alert.htm  .

Here is my mounting solution for easy access and proper viewing angle of the Visual Alert and Audio Adapter:

Other detector brands need only the Visual Alert.  The V1 requires use of the Audio Adapter:  https://store.valentine1.com/Store/item.asp?i=20200 .  Marc Parnes explains that, basically, the V1 by itself doesn't produce enough amps at the phone jack to flash the Visual Alert LEDs.

The bright LEDs flash directly in my line of sight.

The Audio Adapter controls the LEDs.

Visual Alert and Audio Adapter are velcro mounted for easy removal and replacement.  I can adjust the viewing angle of the LEDs as needed; at night I do not want a direct "blast" of red light directly in my face.

Yes they are.  Since the covid infestation, slab average speeds have risen.  I look down and am doing 85-95 in a 55 and still get passed sometimes.
