jjpen Posted yesterday at 08:52 PM Share Posted yesterday at 08:52 PM I know it has been talked to death but I am having trouble finding the specified gear oil for the transmission. Would it hurt to use 80w140 to hopefully help it shift a bit quieter and would it be ok to use oil with anti slip additive? Thanks Link to comment

Thanks Evening jjpen That is pretty thick, you might be better off with 75w90 gear oil. As for limited slip additive in the gear oil, some do it without issues but personally I don't recommend it if you can avoid it. Link to comment

Around where I live, 75w90 is ,much easier to find then 80w140 Link to comment
