Need diameter of tube used to build Wunderlich engine guards?

Can someone who has Wunderlich engine guards provide the outside diameter of the tube. I am trying to determine which highway pegs might fit.

Use a vice grip or an adjustable wrench as a caliper and measure the distance between the jaws with a ruler. There is a pretty good range of adjustment on most of the clamp on type footpegs and you can always use something like a small piece of copper tubing, sawed in half lengthwise and hammered to shape as a shim.

 

The attached shows some standard metric tubing sizes.
