conglomerate
I have new rubber for the footpegs on my R1100RT. Something tells me it's not going to be as easy as sliding/cutting the old ones off and sliding on the new ones. What is the correct procedure. Thanks Frank Link to comment
KER
i have replaced mine before, i used a utility knife and cut the old ones off, removed the slider screw on the end and just shoved the new one on. Pretty straight forward. Link to comment

Pretty straight forward. Exactly! I replaced my footpeg rubber recently and it took about 60 seconds per side. I cut the old one off, and with a little spit slid the new one on. . Link to comment

Thanks The are the little sacrificial bolts sticking out the bottom of the footpegs. IIRC a 10mm wrench temporarily removes them to slide the new rubber on. . Link to comment
