Jim Moore
Folks, I currently have a Panasonic X1220P in my '02 R1150GS. It is getting a little sleepy, so I am going to replace it. I have two quick questions. First, there is a internet dealer that sells Panasonic batteries real cheap and fast. I've used them before, but I can't remember the name of the company. I think they are out of Minnesota, or some other state north of the Artic Circle. Does anyone know the name or have a link? Second, does anyone know if the X1228P will fit in the GS? It is quite a bit wider, but the same height and length. Thanks, Link to comment
JimD
Try this site: www.digikey.com Search the x1220p part #. The 1228 will not fir in the oilhead. It is alot wider than stock. You might also try www.batteryweb.com Jim Link to comment

Jim Moore
Wow. They've really gone up. They were $44 last time I bought one. Link to comment
NoHeat
Cost of lead went up in the last few weeks. It was discussed here. If you're lucky, you might find a store with a battery in stock that they purchased when lead was cheaper. Link to comment
