Urban Surfer
How well can rims be straitend? I was washing the beast today and noticed both rims have a minor indetation in them. A minor price to pay considering how hard I hit that rut at 120 kmh on the Baja. Link to comment
tomk99r11
Look for a recent thread here or do a search. Can be done fairly easily if you can stand to beat on the rim with a rubber or wood mallet. If cracked, replace the rim. Link to comment
NonComp
I had a professional straighten my rim for $150 which included mounting a new tire and balancing. I took it to a company that specializes in straightening alloy rims for cars. My personal opinion is that it was worth the $150 to have them do it. Link to comment
notacop
David Moore in Hesperia, Ca. Can't find his card with his number. Fixed a couple mildly dented rims for a reasonable price. Link to comment
bmweerman
I was going to try that straightening thing, but then I found a set of almost brand new wheels on e-bay for 100 bucks. Guys wife just wanted them out of the garage. Worth a look... bmweerman Link to comment
