DonW
Howdy- To bleed or flush the hydraulic clutch on the R1150RT, you need a "bleeder" thingy the screw into the hole vacated by the allen screw plug. I couldn't get a spare speed bleeder to catch the threads (too long a point below the threads on the bleeder). Is there some special BMW tool? Or substitute? Or other suggestion? Thanks, Don Link to comment
ianboydsnr
its a 10mm bleed nipple with a 1mm thread pitch iirc. Link to comment
Ken H.
Two options – File the tip of the speed bleeder down a bit so it will catch the treads, Or take the OEM bleeder ass’y off all together and install SB directly on the end of the hose coming from the clutch slave cylinder. Link to comment

You will most likely need to apply heat to get the "check valve" assembly off the clutch bleed hose without stripping the threads. Then leave the speed bleeder or standard bleed screw in place for the next time. Link to comment
