Armando
while on a trip to NY with the Zumo on the car, I started wondering why we have not seen a GPS with a radar detector on a single unit. Seems like the resulting unit might be a bit bigger than what is now available from either individually but I would consider a unit bigger than the Zumo if it had a radar on it. Thoughts? E30TECH
I think its a good idea, however you'd be limited as far as choices/options. Some people like the Escort (or is it passport?), others, including me, like the Valentine 1. But I do like the idea regardless. Howd that bushing install go? Link to comment
Pennys Dad
Ya the newest ESCORT Passport 9500ix is GPS Enabled. It works well but the recent research I have done still points at the V1 as being one of the best. same cost though and no acessories needed for the Escort Link to comment
wonderdog
Wouldn't it be grand to have a gps that red dots police radar on the screen for say the last 2-3 minutes. SWEET!!!! Link to comment

John Bentall
It might have to be a North America-only feature becuase radar detectors are illegal in France and Switzerland, for example. Link to comment

You are correct. I think that is a cool feature - however, what happens if there is a cop running radar in the 'known false zone'? Does it know which band was programmed as false? Does the 9500ix detect a second (or more) radar? Link to comment
