Richard_D
Is 13 to San Jose Blvd. a good route? Link to comment
Bernie
Yes, 13 turns into San Jose Blvd, when you enter the city limits. It may not be the quickest way. Link to comment
Richard_D
I'm looking to stay off 95. Do you have a better suggestion than San Jose ? Link to comment
Bernie
You can take 13 and San Jose Blvd., but as it enters Jax, it turns 3 lane and is a traffic nightmare, worse then I-95. If you want to stay on 13, follow it till University Blvd., turn right and go till Powers Ave.(before overpass) turn right and go till storage facility on left side of road. Or you could get enter Jax on US-1(Phillips Hwy) and go north till University Blvd., turn left, cross overpass and turn left at base (Powers Ave) and go to Storage units. You could come north on 13 to Hwy 210 in Orangedale, turn right and follow CR-210 to either I-95 or all the way to US-1, then go north. If you decide to catch I-95, you would get off at US-1, just past I-295/9-A junction and then go north. Caution, please. We had some very bad storms this evening, which usually means lots of branches and debris on smaller roads. Link to comment
Richard_D
Is US1 not a traffic nightmare like San Jose ? Link to comment
Bernie
It has a lot less traffic on Saturday. San Jose has a lot of soccer moms running up and down. Either one is a bore. Link to comment
Bernie
There is another choice. Once you get on SR13, turn off unto CR13A and follow that past SR16 and I-95 all the way to US1, then turn north to Jax. Link to comment
PRC
I thought Pete was comic relief... Isn't he in charge of bringing donuts? Ok, let's get something straight right here and now: 1) They are not called donuts, they are and shall hence forth be referred to as "POWER RINGS" or the like. 2) I have retired from my previous incarnation and now hold a very respectable position at a state agency which requires me to be mindful of my demeanor. 3) I will definitely be the comic relief, for as good as I am with a weapon at 800M-1000M, I am as equally bad with tools. 4) I FREAKING hate POWER RINGS!!!!!!!!! I am soooooooo looking forward to seeing you guys, ya just don't know the half of it. See ya in the am! Link to comment
PRC
Well I made it back home and nothing fell off or exploded! WOO HOO!!! Somebody needs to start a ride tale on this, as I didn't have a chance to take pics or see what everyone else was doing...I was tooo busy being busy and becoming one with my trusty steed!
