gmarktbone
Isn't there someone around who repairs BMW tankbags? It seems like I remember reading about them a couple of years ago. Link to comment

Jon_M
Try your local luggage repair shop. If they can fix a suitcase, they can fix a tankbag. Link to comment
migrant
I've used this place for a repair and was satisfied with service. Look on the Pricing page near the bottom, that's where repairs are mentioned. http://www.customtankbags.com/ Link to comment
gmarktbone
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I'm looking into all the options-I hate to replace it, since everything works great except for the elastic straps. Link to comment
snod
The shoe repair shop at a nearby strip mall has replaced the elastic on my tank bag at least twice. The first time I bought a a pair Aerostitch suspenders that he cut down. (I saved the excess) The last time I got it replaced, he had some really good elastic that has proved most satisfactory. He indicated that he had done this replacement on several tank bags snce I had brought mine in 4 or 5 years ago. Try a nearby shoe and luggage repair shop, if you can find one. Link to comment
