Grassman
I currently use a Coats 220 tire machine but I am going to lose it because the owner is moving. I was looking at tire machines and saw the price of the Coats 220 was $987. I then found the Atlas TC 421 for $1200. The Atlas is pneumatic. Has anyone used the Atlas before, or have any other advise for a tire machine? Link to comment
JR356
A good deal on a manual changer, uses components from Nomar who make a similar but pricier changer. http://www.cyclehilltirechanger.com/products/home http://www.nomartirechanger.com/ If you are only doing a few sets of tires a year,go this way and save bucks to buy the tires themselves. johnlt
A cheapo that works fine is HF. Not as good as no-mar but will do the job much easier that on the floor. Link to comment
DaveRT
My Redneck tar mocheen. 20 gal grease barrel, half full of cement,5/8 threaded rod down the middle, heater hose around the rim. A few parts from the junk bin for a bead breaker and a tire iron or two are all you need. Sure beats humping on the floor like we all have done. Home made stand from hand rail parts from work for my Marc Parnes balancer. Link to comment

Ken H.
I like my No-Mar. Kind of pricy compaired to the HF one though. But not compared to the Coats or Atlas models you're talking about. Link to comment
