smiller
This bike needs one. So far I've found the Ilium Works and Hornig. Anybody using either of these and have any comments, or any other offerings to suggest? Link to comment
Bob Thompson
I have the Ilium on my GT. I've stopped worrying when parking it on asphalt and other soft surfaces. I like the additional toe loop - makes it easier to operate and isn't in the way. Link to comment
tcshooter
I have the Hornig, on my K1300GT, I like it alot better than stock, bike doesnt lean near as far. But I didn't see the Ilium before your post, I would probably look at it if it is as thick as the Hornig. Link to comment
Lets_Play_Two
Wunderlich has an offering see http://www.wunderlichamerica.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=WA&Product_Code=8500049&Category_Code=K1200GT06-P It is a 3 point attachment and not as thick as the Hornig. I have used one without problems for 2 1/2 years. Link to comment

I like the idea of the extra loop (the stock deployment tang is a little small) and the attachment method of the Ilium seems more secure than the others so I think I'll go with it. Link to comment
kriemer
I have used both the Wunderlich and the Hornig. I prefer the Hornig as I have had trouble lifting the GT off of the sidestand after refueling. Karl Riemer 2007 K1200GT Link to comment
