I have the Ilium on my GT. I've stopped worrying when parking it on asphalt and other soft surfaces. I like the additional toe loop - makes it easier to operate and isn't in the way.

I have the Hornig, on my K1300GT, I like it alot better than stock, bike doesnt lean near as far. But I didn't see the Ilium before your post, I would probably look at it if it is as thick as the Hornig.

Thanks, you answered one of my questions in that I was wondering if the loop gets in the way. I like the idea of the extra loop (the stock deployment tang is a little small) and the attachment method of the Ilium seems more secure than the others so I think I'll go with it.

I have used both the Wunderlich and the Hornig. I prefer the Hornig as I have had trouble lifting the GT off of the sidestand after refueling.
