Selden Posted July 26, 2009 Share Posted July 26, 2009 Aerostich.com sells . Clean the underside of the case thoroughly (91% rubbing alcohol works nicely). I made this replacement about 18 months ago, and it's holding up well. Heat Tiles Link to comment
T__ Posted July 26, 2009 Share Posted July 26, 2009 chadwick, whatever you put on there watch what you use to glue it on with.. We have had a few fires in our test cars due to gluing a 400°f heat baffle on using a glue rated for 200°f.. I really don’t think there is much heat on that lower case corner due to air flow across the bottom of the case.. Just more of less a heads-up on the glue thing. Twisty Link to comment
