NonComp
Conventional wisdom used to be that painting a helmet is a bad thing to do because the solvents in the paint can weaken the shell integrity. Is this still the case, or are there consumer-available spray/can paints that could be used safely on a modern helmet? Link to comment
vizhip
I just purchased a new scorpion helmet last month and the warranty information inside said you voided the warranty if you painted the helmet... Of course, the only real thing I need the helmet to do is protect my head during a fall... so not really worried about the warranty as long as the head is protected... Regards - -Bob Link to comment
