Vicious_Cycler
I have seen several discussions regarding non-DOT approved helmets on other boards and websites, ADV, webbikeworld, etc. Helmets that are all ECE 22.05 approved such as Roof Boxer, Caberg Trip, some Schuberths, and others. My question is, if you buy the farm wearing an ECE non-DOT helmet, is your life insurance obligated to pay? I've never heard of a claim being denied for not wearing a seatbelt or driving while impaired. Does anyone have any information that might be helpful? Link to comment
effexer1
You can take you own life on purpose and life insurance will pay (after a period of one year from purchasing the policy), and you can kill yourself by drinking and driving and l.i. will pay, and wearing a non-DOT helmet is a lesser evil than those.
