NORMBATES
Howdy - How strong are the rider's pegs on the R1150RT ? I like to stand, on occasion (at low speeds), to stretch my legs and get the blood flowin in my butt. Am I at risk of snappim off the pegs or damaging the mounts ? No problem on my Airhead but appears a bit risky on my Oilhead. Thanks - Norm Link to comment
Rinkydink
As long as you don't weigh over 400-450 lbs I don't think there will be a problem. Link to comment

Thanks - Norm I ride a R1100RT... and typically when I am about to cross something that I know is going to bounce the bike, I stand up on my pegs... Haven't had any problems so far... and yeah... am weighing in about 220 BEFORE I put my gear on... Regards - -Bob Link to comment
