johnlt Posted September 30, 2009 Share Posted September 30, 2009 I am looking at the new BMW Trailguard Jacket and pants. The spec sheet says it is waterproof and breathable but it also recommends the Gortex liner. Does anyone have any experience with this Jacket. I love my Savannah II but it must have the liner to be waterproof. I didn't even buy the Savannah II pants because it didn't make any sense to me to take my pants off on the side of the road to put on a liner!! I would really like a waterproof suit with great venting and the Trailguard has great vents with supposedly waterproof zippers. I'm confused, any help appreciated. Link to comment
John Bentall Posted October 1, 2009 Share Posted October 1, 2009 A riding buddy loved his well-vented Trailguard, bought without the Goretex liner, on a recent trip to Spain but he uses a separate waterproof overjacket. He uses the BMW Summer trousers as well. Link to comment
