As opposed to CNC machining where you start with a billet. CNC really means there is not enough market to pay for a tool to make this part efficiently. We will wastefully carve it from a billet at great expense. Enter Marketing department. Advertise your deficits as desirable. And suddenly billet and CNC is great. Rod Link to comment
