Moto-Moto Posted October 16, 2009 Share Posted October 16, 2009 I ran a search on the forum and saw both can be used, but then I saw that there were two types of batteries involved, depending on the year of the RT. Since most of my riding is on the weekends and my (2004)RT has been slow to start, I would like to purchase one or the other. Any suggestions or things to avoid? Thanks Link to comment

BMW chragers are made by Deltran and are nothing other than different colored, more expensive Battery Tenders. The Battery Tender will charge, and maintain, any battery type, gel, AGM, lead acid, just fine. One charger to do it all. Stay away from regular chargers as they can over charge your battery.
