Ordered R11RT pivot bearings Thursday evening, took the rear apart expecting to commute on the DR650 for a week. Reading the paper over coffee Saturday morning (today) and the doorbell rings. Small package from Bob's BMW with said bearings. Not a huge deal in a universal grand scheme of things sort of view, but it did make my day. Just thought I'd mention it. Link to comment

Story: had a spill in Washington DC (yes, I have a spill every twenty years, like clockwork). Called Bob's and they put The Man himself on the phone. Without any obvious commercial benefit to himself, was generous with his time in advising me of ways to get bike, load, wife, and me home again to Toronto and about life in Washington.
