R1200RT travel cover

I'm seeking information on a bike cover for my R1200RT. What make, model and size did you get? Did it fit over the windshield, side cases and 49L trunk? How large does it pack? Are you happy with it?

I got this cover in the XXL size for my RT from Nelson-Rigg:

It does fit over everything (top box, side cases, windscreen) and it does have a liner to protect the windscreen. It packs reasonably small (I've never gotten it as tightly packed as it was when I received it though). It also has grommets that you can loop a cable through to secure it to the bike. For what I primarily use it for (keeping my seat dry at night) I probably could have gotten by with a half cover. But this is I think reasonable value for the money.

I originally bought it when I had a Goldwing but have used it many times on the RT. With the windshield in the down position, it covers the fairing, 49L trunk and sidecases. While it's not 100% waterproof, it keep most of the dew and dust off and hides the bike from prying eyes...

I have a Nelson Rig UV2000 half cover size XL.

This is how it fits on my 07 RT

 

 

Came with a soft pouch that measures 5 X 11 X 5 and is "squishable". Hope that helps
