Underwood Posted April 9, 2010 Share Posted April 9, 2010 Does anyone know where I can get Autocom Part# 1273. It's the bluetooth adaptor for use on an Autocom Active-Plus with a powered Aux 1. I want to connect my Zumo 550 to the Autocom Active-plus so I can actually control my Blackberry through the Zumo. Link to comment
JimD Posted April 9, 2010 Share Posted April 9, 2010 Why not connect your phone directly to the Zumo via bluetooth. Mine works that way very well. You can see all the phone info on your zumo display & make calls via it also. Then just hook your zumo to the autocom via hard wire connections. Link to comment
Underwood Posted April 9, 2010 Author Share Posted April 9, 2010 Yes. Blackberry to Zumo is via Bluetooth. I want the Bluetooth adaptor to connect Zumo to Autocomm because I am concerned about water getting into the Zumo cradle if I use the hardwire connection. Link to comment
JimD Posted April 10, 2010 Share Posted April 10, 2010 I have had mine hard wired since I got it (2007) & Rode in the rain quite a bit, never had a problem. If the rains were very hard I always turned off my Zumo and escort & put them away. Someone has restarted the autocom business to my understanding so if you can find the new owners the part you are wanting is probably available. Maybe autocom Tom, or someone else, will see this and let us know who it is and where to contact them. Link to comment
