GPS bracket

I have Nuvi 250 that i wanted to use on the bike so i made a bracket to take a RAM Ball.

Recessed the mounting holes so the original screws fit. 6mm Ali used and sanded to finish ready for paint.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Went for test ride yesterday and it performed very well. No undo vibration etc. Just need a sunshade for it now and a plastic bag for when it rains.

I did the same, except mounted the bar on the inside of the plastic and mounted the ram ball through the plastic into the metal. So the metal doesn't show. The bar is epoxy'd in place on the backside (inside) of the instrument panel.

Nice work. Does the unit obscure the view of the speedo and tacho?
