Paint for red '06 ??

I just learned from my dealer that BMW no longer supplies touch up paint, but gives the color codes out and you go to a local paint shop to get it mixed. I scuffed my sidecase on a tip over and want to sand and dust over it with a spay can as it is near the bottom front, and not very noticable if the final finish is less than perfet.

 

Does anyone know if there are good suppliers out there who still have stock of Piedmont Red? Or is the local mix a better way to go anyway.

Yes, there is a good supplier... go to: http://www.colorrite.com/ and you will find it is devoted to Bike paint and color codes.

 

I actually took one of their color codes for a "project" bike to a local auto paint house- a good one.. and they mixed it up and sold me a touch up sized bottle with a cool little touch-up applicator for something like $7.00.

 

They could have put it in a rattle spray can too.
