Lmar
I am going to install my Centech AP-1 and Hyperlites today. Not having much knowledge or experience with electrical work, I have a couple of questions. 1) Can the Centech AP-1 be wired so that it turns on with the ignition or is it always live? If it can, how would you do it? 2) When you disconnect the battery for installation, is there anything I should be aware of afterwards? With my other bikes you would have to reset the radio, that's about it. 3) It is suggested in the instructions to install a maxi fuse from the Centech to the positive post. What size fuse should go into the holder? Thanks Link to comment
Indy Dave
Centech makes a relay kit you can buy, for the AP-1 it's the CG-HARNESS-AP1 . Others have just wired up a relay to have it be switched. centech product page Link to comment
