Which Bar Risers to Use

Just got a 2010 R1200RT. I am looking for some advice on which bar risers to purchase. Do they make risers for the RT that also has a "ram" ball mount? Thanks

Welcome on board.

 

There are "risers" that just raise the handlebars and then there are risers that raise the bars and also also shift the grips to the rear.

 

Suburburban Machinery is of the former, Mototechniques is of the latter.

 

I used Mototechniques but after a year removed them once I learned how to ride. Search many old threads on MYRP... that's Master Yoda Riding position... which many of discover is the far better answer.

 

None of these have RAM ball mounts, but using the short-arm RAM ball and a short BMW style spacer under the bolt head one of the forward in-board handlebar mounting screws provides a perfect solution.
