prof
An independent shop has quoted me 3 hours of labor time to flush and renew the brake fluid on an '04 1150RT. Does anyone know how this would compare with an authorized BMW dealer. Seems like a long time to me, but I know nothing about it and wouldn't trust myself to work on brakes. Link to comment
ltljohn
Three hours is probably pretty close. You have to remove the tupperware and pull the tank then bleed the system and put it all back together. Where are you in Delaware? I am near Allentown, PA and I am doing my brakes this weekend on my '02 RT. You are more than welcome to come by and see what is involved if it is convenient for you. Skywagon
My dealer quoted $350. I have decided to attempt it myself. Already bought the weird funnel, speed bleeders, etc. Link to comment
