Skywagon
Has anybody tried this? http://www.edsets.com/zumomic?category_id=74 I have been looking for a mic I could plug into my Zumo 550 and still use my earbuds. I ride solo exclusively and don't want a full intercom. I have my music on my Zumo and my phone bluetooth through the Zumo. The challenge is I can only hear phone calls (I tell people that when I answer I can hear you, just can't talk to you) This looks like it might work. Can anybody explain the two mic differences. I wear a Shoei Multitec. Will check the Zumo forum as well. Link to comment
hopz
looks like it ought to work. You also might want to post or search over at http://www.zumoforums.com/index.php?action=forum Link to comment
scoops
I've used the edsets surface mic with the Zumo 550 for about a year. It works OK at lower speeds but people usually have trouble understanding me. i just ordered a Sena SMH10 that I hope will be a better solution. The noise cancellation and wind noise reduction should provide a clearer phone conversation. Link to comment
skyskier
I'm not familar with the edset. I got this setup from SpoiledBiker. http://www.spoiledbiker.com/pp04s.html I use it with my Arizona Al earbuds and it works very well. I can be heard with no problem at 70+mph. The picture doesn't show the entire setup. What you see in the picture, all fits in your helmet. There is a very nice coiled cord that connects from your helmet to the Zumo. Link to comment
AZRTRDR
I have used the EDsets 3G for a couple of years and have been very satisfied. No problem at 75 mph on my RT. using the mike. The best deal is the jack for the in-ear moulded ear plugs/speakers. I wish that there was a Bluetooth edition but until then.. Link to comment
