Garmin Street Pilot 2610 and Mac

OK, I know it's an antique, but it works just fine.

Thing is, when I bought it 2 years ago, I had to use my PC at work to load maps and waypoints for the SPANK Rally.

Fast forward 2 years. My work PC was replaced. MapSource is gone. I lost the disk. The program no longer seems to be available from Garmin. Also, since my home computer is a MAC, and now garmin makes interface sw that runs on a MAC, I'd like to find a replacement program that I can use at home. I've downloaded the free interface from Garmin, and my iMac will talk to my GPS, no problem.

Where can I get map software that a) has enough detail to do a real backwoodsy route and b) will talk to a Garmin Street Pilot, or at least save waypoints that I can send to one?

Thanks!

Anyone know

Download the BaseCamp software for the Mac. The RoadTrip software (formerly bobcat), simply hasn't been updated in years. As far as maps go, you may need to talk to the folks at Garmin Customer Service and see what they recommend. You may have to do the lifetime update in order to get software that will work for you.
