High power LED driving lights

The folks that make the high power LED driving lights had a booth at the MOA rally. Pretty impressive lights. They had a set next to some good PIAA 1100 lights and they were MUCH brighter. I saw several sets on other bikes at the rally but didn't get to talk to the owners. Looks like a real alternative to the Hella Micro HIDs and with no balast to mount.

I would suppose he is referring to the Clearwater Lights.

The Glendas are 550 lumen each and the Kristas are 2200 lumen each respectively.

I saw them in action at the UN and was quite impressed as well.

Just to clarify: The Clearwaters are LED's, not HID's. If you want HID's to retrofit your OEM headlights, you'd want:

If you want true HID accessory driving lights you'd want:

The pros and cons are that while the Clearwaters are dimmable, the Glendas are %499, and the Kristas are $649. This is of course just for the parts, and does not include installation.

While the Baja's and the lazer Stars are not dimmable, They really are a lot of light at a little less money

In the event you are going to be somewhere near the RA Rally this week in Vermont, Rocketmoto (Adam) will be there selling and installing the Clearwater lights. Check him out. Good luck. Dave R.

The Kristas are still cheaper than the Hella Micro HIDs which I installed. Balast mounting was a PITA but they sure put out a lot of light. If I had to do it again, I'd probably look at the Kristas.
