Oil Sight Glass Clouded Over

Gotta love this. Just my last 2 BMW bikes. R1150GS Adv, 75K miles in 2 years, leave bike on side stand, if I can see oil in the glass, ride, if not, add 1 qt and ride. R1100S, 51K miles with a 1 year overlap on the time frame. See above. On either bike, I put in 4 quarts, total, of oil after filling the new filter. Since the 1100S hardly ever used any oil, I would only check once a month or so and by then, it was almost due for a change anyway.
