uofm
60 mph and up i get a high pitched squealing sound from the front of my bike i believe. Could it be from the front breaks? It is a constant noise. Driving me crazy. Link to comment
Albert
Has the alternator belt ever been changed? They give off a good squeal when they're wet. Haven't ever noticed any noise at speed. Might be worth looking over the belt though. Link to comment

It is a constant noise. Driving me crazy. Constant at constant speed? constant at any speed? Constant at steady engine revs/all revs? Itr should be possible to pin it to engine or wheels or wind at least... Link to comment
CoarsegoldKid
Well if the alternator belt hasn't been changed in the last 30K miles change it with a little help from a friend anyway. Link to comment
Limecreek
with a little help from a friend anyway. Was that an indirect John Lennon tribute? Link to comment
Tilly
Don't forget to check your front wheel bearing. My 2007RT made similar noises at 35,000 miles. When the wheel bearing was removed it just collapsed!!! Link to comment
