ednowicki
I have a Zumo 550. I frequently use the left-hand hard buttons to flip through MP3 selections. Yesterday, when I got home from a ride, I noticed my ‘-‘ rubber button was gone, leaving the hard button unusable and the printed circuit board/micro switch exposed to the elements. The rubber membrane must have worn/eroded around the button and broken off. So this does not happen to others, I would suggest the following: 1) Treat the rubber to some “armor all” like product, and 2) Inspect your buttons for cracks. If you see cracks try using “goop” to seal the crack/rot. Link to comment
donbmw
I had my power button come off like that. I had found a rubber plug the same size that fit tight and was going to use that. On the zumo Forum I found the link below were you can by a demo Zumo and order one and replace the case. It was only $20.00 alot less than $150.00 send it to Garmin. Email or call and ask about the demo cases they are not list on the web sit. http://www.tvnav.com/ Link to comment
