Sidecase Scratch protection - where was it?

I saw a thread once regarding a clear plastic or similar material that you stuck on the RTs side cases. It protected against scuffs and scratches.

 

It wasn't any kind of protection against dropping the bike, just against rocks or pebbles, and the occasional boot while throwing over a leg!

 

I searched this forum, but with no luck. I'd appreciate a link or some experience/info/advice.

I have it on my bike and it works but it is difficulty to get it to cling smoothly on curved surfaces. That said, it has protected the tops of my bags from boot scuffs.
