woodscrew
Has anybody seen or worn one of these? I've watched the video at spidi.com and it looks very effective at protecting your neck.At $600 it's not too costly, cheaper than a neck injury anyway.I've looked at the Leatt neck brace that motocrossers are wearing, but they seem impractical for the street. I'm wondering how comfortable this one is to wear- especially in hot weather. Thanks, Woodscrew Link to comment
DFWBo
Dunno about the Spidi, but I like my Hit-Air vest. It supposedly stabilizes your neck as well. Link to comment
woodscrew
Thanks for the reply. I went to the Hit Air site and I like the body protection their products have as compared to the Spidi.I'm looking at the MLV-Y vest. Which vest are you wearing? How is the comfort, especially in hot weather? It seems like a big increase in protection for not much cost. Woodscrew Link to comment
DFWBo
I have that same vest. Does not inhibit air flow much at all. I wear it over my stitch and over my vented jacket. Wifey wears one as well. Mention advrider and get 40 off. Link to comment
DFWBo
Forgot to mention I got it from safer-moto Link to comment
woodscrew
That's what I was hoping you'd say - I'm hot enough already in the summer. Thanks for the tip on the advrider discount. $40 or 40%? Woodscrew Link to comment
