Armando Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 A while ago, Motorcycle Consumer News reviewed after market heated grips. Anyone still have that issue? Looks like the short I had fried the wire to the grips of my bike. Found and clipped the wire where it melted the plastic. Luckily, it did not melt the surrounding cables. Rather than fixing, I figure I install after market grips. If you have the MCN issue, please let me know. Thanks Link to comment
Danny caddyshack Noonan Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 The aftermarket heaters will go under the factory grips. To remove the old grips, I ran a very thin flat screwdriver around several times to break the adhesive. I used the cheapest ones I could find on ebay. Link to comment
