cali_beemer Posted June 18, 2011 Share Posted June 18, 2011 SO I bought a new point and shoot digital camer today. I am considering taking on the bike, as in mounted to the bike for my upcoming trip. I have a BMW shelf on my 1150 RT already. I am looking for mounting options. Its a fairly nice camera so I would want something secure. Link to comment
BerndM Posted June 18, 2011 Share Posted June 18, 2011 short 1/4-20 up thru the bottom of the tray into the camera. Camera shops usually sell these bolts with a thumbwheel for tightening. The one I had had a grove in the bolt for a snapring washer that held the bolt captive when I removed the camera. Don't know if you have room under the tray for turning the thumbwheel.
