Mark K
A quick search seems to reveal that most of you are installing your Autocom/Starcom systems (I guess I could abbreviate that to say Tecstar) in the tail section. I really don't want to lose any of that storage space and would like to leave it atop the air filter. For those that have done this, do you find the proximity to the engine/alternator creating a problem with sound quality/noise? Link to comment
Pletch
While I do store mine in the tail, I started by storing it inside the plastic on the right side, zip tied to the radio/cd player. Worked great and was truly out of the way. I only moved it because I added some other options; bike to bike, and had to get it out. This winter I'll be putting it back inside the plastic though.
