I don't recall if anyone had an opinion about the quality of the XM Radio sound out of a 665. Jim at Irv Seaver BMW said he'd heard it wasn't very good. Anyone know different? Link to comment
Mike Posted August 23, 2011 Share Posted August 23, 2011 I listen to mine through a Sena Bluetooth headset. It's pretty tinny. There's also a big differential between the volume level of the music and the volume level of driving instructions. I keep the music volume at 100% and the voice prompts at 30%, and the music is still comparatively weak. I'm going to try switching over to earplugs to see if I can improve things. Link to comment
Danny caddyshack Noonan Posted August 23, 2011 Share Posted August 23, 2011 Same as Mike on volume except through G4 Powerset. I don't notice tinny sound though. Mating the BT properly instead of the cellphone method did help a little though on volume. I'm pretty sure the XM volume increased when I knocked the GPS volume down from 100%. Link to comment
