Pletch
OK I am sure it's a keyboard chair interface problem, but I'll ask anyway. I have a BMW Navi IV and it is nothing short of great, never had a problem. WELL that is where the problem (me) comes in. When we were in Croatia this summer I noticed that there were several areas of new construction and road changes that weren't on my navi. So, being the smart guy I am, I looked into map upgrades and came across the NuMaps for life program, where you make a onetime buy and you get up to 4 map updates for the life of your device. Well that’s where the fun starts. I register my purchase and my navi with Garmin, it verifies that the maps ARE compatible with my device, and I think I am golden. Well, that wasn't so accurate. Now when I use the navi, it has no idea where the roads are, it appears as though I am flying, crossing roads, rivers and mountains with no problem. When I look at the maps loaded on the navi, it indicates that it's the same version as what I downloaded, so that is or should be good. Does anyone out there have any idea what the problem is and how I can fix it? Thanks, Pletch Link to comment
