I have purchased an AS-7 AUTOSWITCH to hook up my new aux fog lights.I have followed everystep of the instructions , BUT i've been having problems on where and how to connect the yellow coloured cable coming out from the AUTOSWITCH to the flash cancellation switch of my 97RT. Has anyone tried this and cares to assist me?If anyone can provide a photo of the final connection i would really appreciate it. Regards, Fotis Link to comment
oldyam Posted September 24, 2011 Share Posted September 24, 2011 Hi You need to find the Brown wire with the white tracer that goes to terminal TA on the turn signal relay in the fuse box and connect the switch signal wire to it. That will give you the negative feed to switch the relay. Good Luck Link to comment
snod Posted September 25, 2011 Share Posted September 25, 2011 I used the same (brown w/white stripe) wire, but I grabbed it near the large connector under the upper right area of the fairing, just to the right of the right windshield arm. The connector where the right handlebar electics plug in. You have to pull the front of the fairing to get to the spot I used. Link to comment
