ChrisH
Does any one have experience with the Starcom1 Wire3 and Sony DRC-BT15? Specifically, I would like to know if they can be paired and how well they work together. I'm also very interested to know how well the DRC-BT15's microphone works inside of your helmet. Thanks! Autocom Matt
No first hand experience here... I think $99 is a lot for a maybe, 6-hour max battery, non-weather resistant, non-motorsport designed noise cancelation, etc. That said, if it has a standards compliant A2DP profile, headphones should work fine. I think most of your heartache will come from getting the microphone to work well. That said, my recommendation if you are going to go down the "Bluetooth Rabbit Hole" is the Sena headset. You have a Starcom, the second best motorcycle intercom. I'd suggest living with the wires if possible. The audio quality and reliability will be much better. Perhaps look at how downlead cables are mounted? Link to comment
