They are made by a Dutch company I beleive but the UK inporter is... http://www.vehicledevelopments.com/index.htm I picked up a pair from them yesterday. Contact details on the link. No affiliation etc etc.... Just pleased I could find some after all this time & I know others have been looking as BMW don't make them for the 12's They fit very well and seem strong enough. If you go to the other link, halfway down the page in the left column there's a link to the city lids which leads to this page http://www.nedplex.com/city-lids-r1200rt,us,4,R1200rtlids.cfm There it's $340.21 USD. I don't read Dutch so not sure what's the difference between the two pages. Lot of $ either way for a thinner cover. Link to comment

I keep mine at the bottom of a closet so no one will see them. Till I need them for serious traveling to substitute for my city lidded bags. Easiest, if not cheapest, is to have two sets of bags.
